‘0.20787 95763 50761 90854 6955…’ is one of a set of details from a much
larger work entitled ‘142,857’ created at 1.59 p.m. on March 14, 2007. The
series deals with the visualisation and sonification of data. In this case
SoundHack was used to apply a sound header to a Quark Express document. The soundfile header was
then converted into a Raw pixel image. The print was exhibited as part of the Template
exhibition at SightSonic, York in April 2008. Template is curated and conceived
by Christopher Murphy (Fehler) and Joe Gilmore (Qubik).
